Senior Technician celebrates 25 years with specialist cleaning company

A local domestic and commercial, specialist cleaning company is celebrating as one of its senior technicians completes 25 years’ service, having joined as a fresh-faced, 17 year old.

Wayne Goff, from Dorchester began his career with ServiceMaster Clean Dorset and Wessex in 1990, after leaving Thomas Hardye School in Dorset.  Since joining ServiceMaster Clean, he has risen through the ranks to now oversee disaster restoration cleaning projects for the company and can often be seen driving throughout the area in his bright yellow van. Qualifying as a British Damage Management Association Senior Technician in 2008, Wayne works with residential customers and on insurance claims, helping to clean and restore property and possessions after water or fire damage.

Wayne said: “I thoroughly enjoy my work with ServiceMaster Clean, serving the people of Dorset and Wessex. The company has changed a lot over 25 years but remains dedicated to providing the best service to customers.”

Owner of ServiceMaster Clean Dorset and Wessex, Yvonne Brien added: “Wayne has been an invaluable member of staff over his 25 years with us. He’s developed from a young boy into a man and has regular customers who request that he comes to clean their carpets and soft furnishings.”

Miss Sayer of Dorchester added: “Wayne has been cleaning our carpets and sitting room furniture for over 12 years and has always given us excellent service. He is cheerful and a real credit to ServiceMaster Clean.”

ServiceMaster Clean Dorset and Wessex has been trading from its base on the Grove Trading Estate since 1989 and also operates a furniture repair and restoration business, Furniture Medic.
