The Brand
ServiceMaster was first established in the United States in 1929 as a small one-man business in the Chicago area. The business had a carpet cleaning plant but introduced the innovation of cleaning carpets onsite at customer’s houses. Rapid growth followed over the next 20 years and in 1949 the Company began expanding across the USA through franchising.
Fast forward to 1959 and ServiceMaster Clean was introduced to the UK markets as a franchise. Developments in the UK market steered ServiceMaster to investing in further services and franchise opportunities including office cleaning, disaster restoration, furniture restoration, bookkeeping, domestic cleaning and lawn care.
Today there are over 700 franchise licenses established throughout Great Britain, all providing professional services to their respective customers – making our brand hard to miss.
