ServiceMaster Clean, is the largest residential and commercial cleaning service in the world, has consistently been ranked as one of the best cleaning franchises.

As a division of ServiceMaster, we have a long and profitable history. ServiceMaster Clean itself has 60 successful years’ of experience behind it.

Our systems, software, quality cleaning products and marketing and training programmes are just some of the factors that make us Number 1 in the industry. All staff under the ServiceMaster clean franchise are professional-looking (they wear uniforms) and thoroughly trained. Our cleaning methods and standards are exceptional.

Management, business and people skills are very important; treat your employees with respect, and a commitment to follow the ServiceMaster Clean system. The most vital attribute is a willingness to build new relationships. ServiceMaster Clean have the tools available to build your business but essentially it is up to you to sell your business to homeowners and other businesses within your territory, this will be the key to your success.

The franchise fee includes: An initial two weeks, new owner training at our UK Franchise Support Centre located in Leicester, exclusive ServiceMaster Clean computer software, start–up equipment and cleaning products for approximately 12 months, operations and marketing manuals and an initial marketing package.

You may not know that many banks are happy to lend a substantial percentage of the initial investment provided you have been accepted by a reputable franchisor.  This also depends on your credit history and assets.

We have an excellent reputation with the leading banks for supporting our franchisees. Banks are currently providing up to 70% of the initial investment. We are happy to approach them on your behalf.

The monthly royalties are up to 10% of gross sales as they vary for each franchise licence.  These royalties are an investment which allow us to stay current on technological advances, enabling us to extend our products and services to other regions.  As our brand strengthens, higher business and profits are realised, resulting in a win – win situation for us and our franchisees.

Yes – each franchise has an area, which is determined by the population and demographics (age, income, type of dwelling etc).

Contract services

The business is typically a 5–day week– Monday to Friday– operation. However, time is managed by yourself and it may sometimes be necessary to work evenings or weekends depending on your workload.

Commercial services

Services would traditionally be provided outside normal office hours or at weekends, so during recruitment, it is important to be sure you have a motivated team of technicians.

Residential services

Services are traditionally provided during the week, flexibility may be required to visit working clients in the evening or at weekends to suit their needs

Disaster Restoration

Due to the nature of the business it will be necessary to be on call 24 hours a day 365 days per year, cover can be organised via a neighbouring franchise and operators.
