The fab four: ServiceMaster achieves a UK franchise first

ServiceMaster has achieved a UK first, with no less than four of its staff achieving Qualified Franchise Professional (QFP) status in 2016.

The first four to undertake the qualification, which includes Catriona Berry, brand operations manager for Merry Maids UK; Hannah Banfield, head of marketing for ServiceMaster; Guy Strang, brand operations manager for ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services and Angus Dodds, head of restoration services for ServiceMaster, have lead the way for more of the ServiceMaster team to follow in their footsteps in 2017.

With over 50 members of staff at the ServiceMaster Franchise Support Centre in Leicester, supporting over 300 franchised businesses across the UK, the company is making waves in the franchise industry. ServiceMaster has had franchisees shortlisted in the British Franchise Association (bfa) Franchisee of the Year Awards for the last three years and in 2013, one of its Contract Services franchisees took home the Customer Service award. ServiceMaster itself was a finalist for the Franchisor of the Year in 2013 and in 2016, TruGreen Professional LawnCare became ServiceMaster’s final brand to achieve bfa Full Member status.

There are currently 104 Qualified Franchise Professionals and the accreditation has been in existence since 2011.
