ServiceMaster Disaster Restoration North Norfolk & Norwich
We have operated the ServiceMaster Disaster Restoration Franchise now for over 12 years and with starting up the business in the recession we knew it was not going to be an easy start but with the help and support we received from the franchisor and local franchisees this made the journey at the start that little less daunting.
We had onsite training along with courses arranged by Head office which gave us great confidence going out in the field to serve our customers.
We have had our ups and downs in the business like many others may have but we feel over the years we have treated all aspects as a learning curve and are now seeking the rewards with the client data base we have built up along with the reputation which has now developed from the hard work our team has delivered time and time again.
On-going training and support is a key and with the new centre of excellence introduced we feel that we are all working as a team with all involved within the centre of excellence. We are all learning new drying regimes which are required for the new building developments/constructions. We made a large investment into our business with new drying equipment along with training to implement this and this has seen our business grow and put us in good stead within the industry being able to offer the variety of drying services.

ServiceMaster Disaster Restoration Nottingham
I bought my first franchise in 1986, following a career in the Insurance Industry.
The franchise appealed to me because of my desire to be my own boss, and control my own destiny.
In my dealings with Servicemaster whilst I was considering my options, I was impressed with the general set up and the people I met and decided to buy the franchise.
Twenty-one years later, the business has developed almost beyond recognition, both for me personally, and for the business generally. Both franchisees and ServiceMaster Ltd have faced major challenges in recent years, and have met these challenges admirably. We are moving forward as a team, franchisee and franchisor together, and are set to enjoy continued growth in the coming years.
It is interesting to think that over the last 21 years, Jacqueline and myself have relied solely on our business for income and have built up a sizable equity within the business. Our youngest son has been involved in the business for some six years and will at some point take over the running of the operation.
To summarise, although running any business has its challenges, I feel that the franchise has, and continues, to fulfil our hopes and ambitions and we are proud to be associated with ServiceMaster Clean.
